Today I was sitting in the school library during my spare period reading a book at a study desk, and all of a sudden I feel a hand on my should and a rather effeminate voice exclaims, "Hi Emily!" So I wheel around, and come face to face with a skinny looking fellow in a cardigan and lady's jeans. "You're not Emily!" he says, as though I had tricked him or something. "Not last I checked" I said back, shaking my head. He slunk off, embarrassed. Moral of the story: Even if you're over 6 feet tall, wearing a Mayhem shirt, and built like a telephone pole made of granite and fire, people will still mistake you for a girl just because your hair happens to be past your shoulders.

In other news, the weather here in good old Toronto has been most despicable lately. Usually this is the end of Autumn, so to speak, (even though it doesn't technically end until December 21st) and we can usually expect our first snowfall mid-November. It usually starts snowing significantly by early December, however flurries mid-way through October and even earlier sometimes aren't completely unheard of. This whole week though, for some reason, has been spring/early summer temperatures. Today it was 11, yesterday was 18 and the day before was 20!
...I'm really craving some snow. Immediately.
